Your Privacy Choices
One switch, and we stop collecting. No account needed, no form to fill in.
What this switch does
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use analytics technologies to understand how people find and move through our website, and under some US state privacy laws that use can be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. This page is how you opt out of it.
Opting out stops the page-view collection described under "DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?" in our Privacy Notice. It applies on this site and on every Bashbuilt-hosted site at a bashbuilt.com address, in this browser. It does not affect anything we need in order to run your account, bill you, or keep the Services secure, and it does not sign you out.
Your current setting
You are not opted out. We are collecting page views in this browser.
What this switch cannot do
Your choice is stored in this browser only, because the honest alternative is worse: remembering it for you across devices would mean creating the kind of persistent identifier this switch exists to avoid. So you will need to set it again in another browser, on another device, or after clearing your site data.
It also stops at the edge of our own addresses. Some of the businesses that use Bashbuilt run their website on a domain of their own, and nothing we set here can reach another company's domain without building the sort of cross-site tracking this switch is meant to turn off. On those sites the business decides what is collected, and their own privacy notice is the place to look.
A browser-wide signal is the route that covers everywhere, and the one we would point you to first. We recognize and honor Global Privacy Control, which you can enable once in a supporting browser or extension. See globalprivacycontrol.org.
Other privacy rights
Opting out is not the same as asking us to delete what we already hold, or to tell you what that is. Those requests go through Request My Data, or email privacy@bashbuilt.com. The rights available to you, and how we handle each request, are set out under "DO UNITED STATES RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?" in our Privacy Notice.
